On December 15,1791 the second amendment was ratified and stated, "A well regulated Militia,being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed".Our founding fathers thought it was important for this to be in the Constitution so that future citizens would be able to keep the right to, "keep and bear Arms"
Many years have passed and things have changed in the United States about the way some people feel about guns and our rights to own them.
